Vaccination Centres
It’s important not to contact the NHS or your GP practice for a vaccination.
The public have an important part to play:
- Please get your vaccinations and booster
- Please don’t contact your GP to book your appointment
- Please attend any booked appointments; and
- Please continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.
A number of local vaccination centres have been set up across Grampian.
If you’ve recently tested positive for coronavirus, you should wait until 4 weeks after the date you were tested to get any dose of the vaccine. You should do this even if you have no symptoms.
Children and young people aged 12 to 17 years, who have recently tested positive for coronavirus, should wait 12 weeks after the date they were tested to get the vaccine (first or second dose). However, if you’re aged 12 to 17 and at increased risk, you can have your coronavirus vaccine from 4 weeks after coronavirus infection.
